Mahmoud Gamal graduated from the law faculty in 2010 and have been employed at Arabyads for a decade. Initially, he began my journey as a senior media buyer, where he spent a year reshaping our campaign strategies, ultimately achieving a daily lead count of 1,000.
His next milestone was to inspire and guide the team to adopt these new strategies, which significantly bolstered our numbers. Consequently, he was promoted to media buying leader, assuming responsibility for the entire team, all while striving to instill a fresh perspective on our processes and outcomes.
The path to this position was marked by tremendous effort and challenges, particularly with media expenditure and limited access to Facebook, where he could only work ten days a month due to account restrictions. Nonetheless, he devised innovative solutions to run successful campaigns using alternative sources.
Subsequently, he ascended to assistant manager, overseeing team performance and reporting directly to the manager. During this time, they initiated an internship program within the company, and Mahmoud took on the trainer role. One of his notable achievements was creating a campaign with diverse funding sources, with a budget of $500,000, resulting in a million-dollar return.
As a Performance Marketing Director, he managed paid ad campaigns across all platforms and tested different messaging strategies across various channels to identify the most effective approach. Additionally, Mahmoud diligently monitored budget allocation and assessed paid ad campaign performance.
A key aspect of his role was collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate A/B creative tests and scaling tests on campaigns to determine the most successful tactics. He continuously explores new channels and trends to optimize media spending and reduce the Cost per Action.
